Douglas B. Tzanetos, M.D.
Douglas Tzanetos, M.D. joined AAPCK in June, 2009. He is board certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and allergy/immunology. He is from Buckhorn, Kentucky a small town in rural Eastern Kentucky. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University in 1994 then attended graduate school at the University of Kentucky where he obtained his master’s degree in clinical psychology. He received a medical degree from the University of Kentucky, where he also performed his residency in both internal medicine and pediatrics. After serving a year as chief resident in internal medicine at UK, he completed his fellowship training in allergy and immunology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee in June 2009. He is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
